Cydonia Two computer engineering working at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center,Vincent DiPietro and Gregory Molenaar, discovered the 2 frames,35A72 and 70A13, taken by the Viking I probe. In 1976 Gerry Soffen, chif scientist of Viking, dismissed the "Face" as a trick of light. But DiPietro and Molenaar proved otherwise. Then ex NASA scientist, Richard C Hoagland, and DiPietro and Molenaar discovered other feature of those 2 frames; namely the D&M pyramid, fort, the wall and the city. Hoagland and his groupd went on the show the world that the Pyramids and the Face we aligned identical to the Giza pyramid and Sphinx. This lead to the implication that they were created by intelligent civilization for a purpose. |

| Recently while I was researching this topic, I came across a couple of interesting man-made formation in Iran. An artificial settlement in Tepe, Iran called the Tepe Gawra was first photographed in 1937. It resemblance to the Face on Mars is such that they look identical. |

| The resemblance to Cydonia doesn't end here. Less than a football field away, lies a five sided pyramid called the Dadan Rock. This pyramid is identical to the D&M pyramid on Mars. |
